Nowadays, ATF exchange through equipment is an international tendency, since exchange by gravity can only replace 35-55% ATF for different car models.

Another advantage of utilizing equipment to do ATF exchange is that you can flush the A/T system with proper detergent to completely remove the oil sludge. Both CM-102 and CM-102+ have this Flush function. And CM-102+ has optional heating function, to meet high tempera ture requirements of some car models, which have thermostat inside A/T system.
